B01 IGNITION SWITCH NOT WORKING

Engines: 2.0 16V, 2.0 JTD 8V, 2.3 JTD 16V, 2.8 JTD 8V
Engines: All listed engines
Nothing happens when the ignition is turned ON. The starter motor does not turn, the instruments do not light up

First of all, check the efficiency of the batteryMove on to Step 1Battery run downRecharge the battery

Check the following, in order:
  • correct fastening and earth connection of the negative battery terminal;
  • correct fastening of positive battery pole and all leads connected to it;
  • no oxidation at the earth point for the negative battery lead.
