I05 DIPPED HEADLAMPS NOT WORKING

Engines: 2.0 16V, 2.0 JTD 8V, 2.3 JTD 16V, 2.8 JTD 8V

When the stalk switch wheel is operated with the key ON, the dipped beams do not work

	Check the following, in order: Dipped headlamp fuses Connections between battery, engine bay control unit, dipped beam relay and bulbs; Bulb earth	Move on to Step	1. Component defective	1. Replace defective component (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow).
		Move on to Step	2. Connections interrupted	2. Repair the connections See E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPS

	Check the following, in order: Connections between battery, ignition switch, engine bay control unit, dipped beam relay, switch control unit and stalk unit; Stalk unit earth;	Move on to Step	1. Component defective	1. Replace defective component (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow).

		Move on to Step	2. Switch control unit fault	2. Replace switch control unit

	Check the following, in order: Correct power supply to engine bay control unit; Check that when an earth signal is activated from the switch control unit to the engine bay control unit, a battery voltage output is generated to control the bulbs.
