1064A26 VARIABLE GEOMETRY TURBOCHARGER EXHAUST MANIFOLD SLEEVE LEADING TO EXHAUST PIPE DISMANTLE AT BENCH

Removing

- Position the turbocharger assembly and exhaust manifold in the vice.1. Undo the fixing nuts (1a) and disconnect the exhaust manifold (1b) from the turbocharger assembly.

1. Undo the fixing nuts (1a) and remove the fastening collar (1b).2. Remove the connecting hose between the turbine and the exhaust pipe and the gasket.

Refitting

- Fit a new gasket and the connecting hose between the turbine and the exhaust pipe.- Fit the fastening collar and tighten the fixing nuts.- Fit the exhaust manifold on the turbocharger assembly and tighten the fixing nuts.
