The engine control unit consists of a fan operated by the engine management unit in accordance with parameters supplied by the coolant sensor. One of the two engine fans is used for the low speed: a resistance load is connected in line to limit the power supply to the fan.Both fans are operated to obtain high speed. Activation of the second fan is governed by a dedicated relay.The entire engine cooling system is protected by dedicated relays and protected by another two fuses housed in the engine bay junction unit.
