- Position the vehicle on the lift.- Disconnect the negative battery lead.

Op. 1016A10 SOUND-PROOFING COVER - R + R- Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve on one of the front brake calipers.- Connect the recovery device (pipe and reservoir) to the brake caliper bleed valve.- Operate the brake pedal until the brake/clutch reservoir is drained.1. Undo connector (1a) and disconnect the pipe from master cylinder (1b), then release the pipe from the retaining clips.

Op. 1076B50 EXHAUST PIPE ATTACHMENT TO ENGINE - R + R Op. 1040A40 PLUG FOR FUEL FILLER PIPE - R + R Op. 1040A30 OIL SEAL COVER, FLY WHEEL SIDE - R + R AND REPLACE SEALS1. Open retaining clips (1a) and release rigid pipe (1b) from the body.

1. Use the appropriate tool to undo the connector for the rigid pipe to the left front flexible brake hose.

- Release the rigid pipe from the springs securing it to the bodyshell.2. Remove the rigid pipe from the master cylinder to the left front brake from the lower part of the engine compartment.

- Position the pipe in the car.- Use the appropriate tool to tighten the connector joining hose and rigid pipe to the specified torque.
